A “great” parish??

http://www.stclementofrome.org/

Apparently this parish was judged to be “great” in some sort of review of parishes across the country.

Maybe it’s just my own prejudice, but the front page does not seem to me to depict a church whose sanctuary cares to communicate that anything “great” happens there!

Tabernacle and carpet are two problems. But if the music and preaching are good ...

Not that being a welcoming community is bad, but something about that wording (or similar) always have bothered me - it seems to have a slight undertone of the dilution of our Catholic identity a bit.

Perhaps they can raise funds to redo the sanctuary a bit as well - but they have more pressing issues with rebuilding, I guess.

Hello. Congratulations for your blog. Do you know why the young people pray the holy rosary? You can watch here fifty testimonies of young university students
